Sony Postpone Church's 'Cr*p' Album
Teenage singer CHARLOTTE CHURCH is devastated record giant SONY have delayed her debut pop album - after music bosses branded it "cr*p".
The VOICE OF AN ANGEL star spent six months working on the CD with ROBBIE WILLIAMS' songwriter GUY CHAMBERS, and is furious unimpressed Sony chiefs have postponed its autumn (04) release until next spring (05) and asked her to rethink her music career, reports Britain's THE SUN newspaper.
A family friend says, "Charlotte is not happy. She is feisty and argued in her corner. But so many music insiders called it complete cr*p she has been told it won't be released until next year."
Lat night (31AUG04) Sony insisted, "Charlotte's album is fantastic. We want to make sure we get it 100 per cent right."01/09/2004 02:39
