Sonic Youth Return To Cbgb

SONIC YOUTH's performance at soon-to-close New York punk mecca CBGB on Tuesday night (13JUN06) was filmed for an upcoming JEM COHEN documentary on the cult rockers. The show was the first date on Sonic Youth's Rather Ripped tour. The group, who were joined onstage by former PAVEMENT bass player JIM O'ROURKE, had not performed at the club since 1992.
