Soderbergh Pans Sharif's Che!

Director Steven Soderbergh is confident his upcoming biopic on Argentine revolutionary ERNESTO 'CHE' GUEVARA will be better than the 1969 original.

Egyptian actor Omar Sharif played the medical student-turned communist, who assisted Fidel Castro's revolution in Cuba, in the Richard Fleischer flop CHE!.

However, the Traffic film-maker insists Puerto Rican Benicio Del Toro is a more convincing Guevara in GUERRILA.

He says, "I never saw Omar Sharif as 'Che' Guevara."
