Social Worker Lands Multi-Million Film Deal
An unknown Australian medical worker has become the shock toast of Hollywood after gaining a $7 million (GBP3.8 million) deal for her first script.
HEATHER MORRIS was paid the vast sum by production company TALK STORY to produce FOUR NORTH, which was inspired by her work as manager of the social work team at Melbourne's MONASH MEDICAL CENTRE.
Now the delighted writer is chasing KEISHA CASTLE-HUGHES to star, and the young OSCAR nominee has already read the script.
However, Morris admits there's one person she'd particularly love to sign up.
She laughs, "And we love JOHNNY DEPP."21/05/2004 12:40
