Snider Saves School Rock Show

Former TWISTED SISTER rocker DEE SNIDER has saved a school talent show in Pennsylvania after providing teachers with security staff to man the event.

The WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT singer, who now fronts a radio show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, jumped to action when he heard rock bands were being banned from entering a talent show at Hamburg Area High School due to fears of injuries among overenergetic fans.

Snider blasted school official on his radio show and then offered to pay for a bona fide concert security firm to staff the show.

The rocker, who has also pledged to attend the talent show, says, "It was like freakin' FOOTLOOSE (KEVIN BACON film): 'We're banning dancing."
