Smith To Play Depressed Superhero

Will Smith has become the latest star attached to superhero drama TONIGHT HE COMES, a project which has spent years in pre-production hell.

Vince Gilligan's dark script, about a depressed, bored superhero who drinks, smokes and has one-night stands, has been kicking around Hollywood for five years, where it regularly topped studio executives' lists but never got greenlighted.

Terminator 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES director Jonathan Mostow is slated to take charge of the new film, according to movie trade magazine HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
