Slipknot Rely On La Forum's Ignorance

SLIPKNOT frontman COREY TAYLOR is convinced the Christian owners of Los Angeles venue the LA Forum are oblivious of the band's true persona - otherwise they would never be allowed to perform there.

The wild rock band are happy to let the Christian Fundamentalist bosses believe they are a "cartoon band" if it means they can continue to perform at the 16,000 seater amphitheatre.

He says, "Maybe they're too intimidated to say no to us or either they don't understand what we're doing or they take it on the cartoon value, they think it's just a show, when we're very passionate about what we do and what we say.

"Thank God for ignorance otherwise we wouldn't be able to play here."
