Simpson Thrills Willie With Birthday Treat

Country legend Willie Nelson celebrated his 72nd birthday in style on Saturday (30APR05) when Dukes Of Hazzard co-star JESSICA SIMPSON surprised him onstage with a tune.

Nelson was performing to a sell-out crowd at Los Angeles' GreekTheater with celebrity friends like SHELBY LYNN and ZZ TOP star Billy Gibbons when Simpson turned up unannounced.

She then led the crowd in a chorus of HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Nelson had another treat in store - two of his sons performed his hit TEXAS FOOD and the proud dad looked on.
