Simpson Fights For Fightstar Album Delay

Former BUSTED star Charlie Simpson has postponed the release of his new rock band Fightstar's debut album - so fans won't be disappointed with a sub-standard release.

Simpson, who shocked Busted fans when he quit the boyband in January (05), has amazed music fans with the hard rocking Fightstar and is determined to make their first album as good as it can be.

He says, "The album won't be out until the beginning of next year (06). There has been pressure but we said to the label that we want to do the best we can.

"Our label Universal are amazing and really into Fightstar. We made it clear we want control and will write and record all summer."
