SIMON COWELL's model girlfriend TERRI SEYMOUR is laughing off reports she's covering up his speculated homosexuality.

The 30-year-old beauty has been dating the caustic AMERICAN IDOL and POP IDOL judge for nearly a year - but dismisses claims she's been drafted in to hide the sharp-tongued music mogul's true sexuality.

Terri says, "I can't believe people would think that - I've got better things to do than play girlfriend in a fake relationship!

"I once read a rumour in a newspaper that said: 'Which TV star's girlfriend is bribing him to stay with her, because she knows his deep, dark secret?'

"I laughed my head of, and read it out to Simon, I knew they meant us immediately!"
