Simmons Tells Of Ozzy Anguish

Kiss frontman Gene Simmons wishes his pal Ozzy Osbourne would have taken his lead by not touching drink or drugs.

The 53-year-old rocker - who has a new solo album called A**Hole out next month (MAY04) - is a close friend of Ozzy's and is upset the Black Sabbath rocker indulged in illicit substances so heavily.

Simmons says, "I've never been high or drunk in my life or even smoked a cigarette.

"I love the Osbournes to death, I'm sorry Ozzy did that to himself for 30 years.

"He deserves better, why would you succumb to something that robs you of your soul?"
