Simmons + Navarro Go Poker Crazy In Vegas

KISS star GENE SIMMONS and DAVE NAVARRO are heading up a list of card-playing rockers who will take on professional gamblers in an upcoming celebrity poker tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The odd couple and former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist JERRY CANTRELL will play in the second annual Vegas Rock Star Poker Tournament and Sweepstakes alongside professional card sharks and contest winners.

Fans can sign up to take on the rockers at the event, which will be held next month (25-27AUG05) at the Palms Casino Resort by taking part in a number of radio promotions or by entering their name on

Simmons is making the most of the tournament - he'll be filming an episode of his forthcoming reality show, FAMILY JEWELS, at the event.
