Sheen Shines At London Theatre Awards
Kate Beckinsale's ex-partner Michael Sheen won the prestigious Best Actor gong at the EVENING STANDARD THEATRE AWARDS ceremony in London last night (24NOV03).
The UNDERWORLD star took home the respected London newspaper's accolade for his critically-acclaimed performance in the lead role of Caligula at the DONMAR WAREHOUSE, the theatre which was run by American Beauty director SAM MENDES until earlier this year (03).
The satirical Jerry Springer: THE OPERA was honoured with the Best Musical of the Year award at the event, which took place at the British capital's plush SAVOY HOTEL.
