Shatner To Star In The Practice Spin-Off
Veteran actor William Shatner is expected to join James Spader in cancelled legal drama The Practice's anticipated spin-off.
Both have already appeared in the American TV programme - Spader as the lead and Shatner as a guest star - which is ending its eight-year run later this year (04) .
Shatner's character, DANNY CRANE, is the senior partner in CRANE, POOLE + SCHMIDT, the law firm which represents ALAN SHORE, portrayed by Spader. Shore subsequently joins Crane's firm.
Fay Masterson and Lake Bell are on track to star in the spin-off, with their characters being introduced in the final episodes of The Practice.
