Shatner, Danner And Garrett Early Emmy Winners
LATEST: WILLIAM SHATNER, BLYTHE DANNER and BRAD GARRETT were among the early winners at Sunday's (18SEP05) Emmy awards in Los Angeles.
The former STAR TREK star won his second consecutive Best Supporting Actor In A Drama for his role as CRANE in BOSTON LEGAL - he picked up the same award last year (04) when he guest-starred in the same part in precursor THE PRACTICE.
Garrett picked up his third Best Supporting Actor In A Comedy Emmy for his contribution to smash hit TV show EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND.
He joked, "I have to dedicate this to BRITNEY (SPEARS) and our baby. This is amazing."
Danner was named Best Supporting Actress In A Drama for her performance in HUFF - and she dedicated her triumph to her late director husband BRUCE PALTROW.
She said, "I think my husband Bruce Paltrow is up there, stirring this up for me.
