Shady Idols

LATEST: American Idol contestant COREY CLARK has been thrown off the talent
show after it was discovered he faces assault charges against his 15-year-old
sister.

Clark, one of nine remaining finalists, faces trial over an incident at
his family home last October (02).

US network Fox were tipped off after details of the alleged assault were
leaked to the press.

He is now the third contestant to be axed from the show this year after
revelations about his past.

Last month (FEB03) 23-year-old Frenchie Davis was forced to pull out of
the race amid revelations she had posed topless on an Internet porn site and
semi-finalist Jaered Andrews was kicked off the programme after it was found he
had been
arrested on an assault charge.

Fox has yet to announce if Clark will be replaced on the show.
