Sellers' Daughter Slams Panther Remake
Legendary comedian PETER SELLERS' daughter SARAH is disgusted Hollywood bosses have remade THE PINK PANTHER, declaring she has "no intention of seeing it". Sarah, 48, believes her dad's portrayal of the bumbling French detective INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU was so perfect, it would be impossible even for someone as talented as STEVE MARTIN to reprise him. She says, "I think it's a bit sad they can't do new things. I don't know what my father would think. It's nice that people still love the character, but Clouseau fans will know it's not really Clouseau. "I don't think it's a good idea for Steve Martin. It's like someone else trying to be CHARLIE CHAPLIN."
