Schwarzenegger Terminates Smoking In Prisons
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill banning tobacco from the state's prisons.
The 57-year-old wants to ban inmates from lighting up - even though the cigar-smoking Terminator actor has a tent set up near his smoke-free office so he can light up in freedom.
The law will affect the estimated half of California's 160,000 prison population who are smokers, and who will be fined if caught puffing away.28/09/2004 17:32
