Rourke Is British Movie Fans' "Man Of The Year"
Mickey Rourke has been named Man Of The Year by British film fans for his role in Sin City.
Rourke, who has enjoyed a series of high profile parts following his return from a decade in the Hollywood wilderness, grabbed the hearts of Total Film magazine readers with his portrayal of MARV in Robert Rodriguez's blockbuster.
Batman Begins, starring Welshman Christian Bale and Michael Caine, was voted Film Of The Year in the poll of 15,000 movie buffs.
Scottish star Ian McDiarmid was named Best Movie Villain for his portrayal of SUPREME CHANCELLOR PALPATINE in Star Wars: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH.
The Best Child Actor award went to Dakota Fanning for her performance alongside Tom Cruise in Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds, while the squirrels in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory were named Best Movie Animal.
