Rivers Gets Raunchy With Camilla

Outspoken comedienne Joan Rivers has told Camilla Parker Bowles she wanted to give her sexy lingerie as a wedding gift.

The DUCHESS OF CORNWALL, who married British royal Prince Charles at the weekend (09APR05) amid setbacks and mixed public feeling, is known for her grounded sense of humour and told Rivers to "send the things".

Rivers, one of nearly 800 guests at the royal wedding reception, is considering posting the underwear despite the newlyweds' decision to forgo presents.

Rivers says, "She thought that was hilarious. She's a very earthy, funny woman. You can swear in front of her."

The American comedienne is thrilled for the happy couple, and was struck by how in love they are.

She adds, "It was so obvious how happy they were, that just radiated from the whole room."
