Richards Hollywood Career 'Halted'
Veteran rocker Keith Richards may lose his chance to star in Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 following emergency brain surgery to remove a blood clot.
THE Rolling Stones guitarist was treated after falling from a Fijian coconut tree and hitting his head, and now Hollywood bosses fear his recovery may interfere with starring in the Disney sequel.
Richards, the inspiration behind Johnny Depp's character Jack Sparrow, was set to play the actor's on-screen father.
Depp was so desperate for Richards to be in the movie, he was even willing to take a pay cut in order to secure the BROWN SUGAR star's services.
A Disney spokesman says, "The casting of the film is yet to be finalised."
