Reeve's Widow Bravely Fights Cancer Battle

The widow of the late Christopher Reeve has been praised for her courage as she battles lung cancer, just over a year after her SUPERMAN star husband died.

DANA REEVE, 43, supported her paralysed spouse for a decade until his tragic death last October (04), and she is now fighting her own troubles with the same brave determination.

Her father CHARLES MOROSINI says, "She had to have enormous pluck and courage to stick by her husband for nine-and-a-half years.

"And she's the same tough kid - you can't get her down.

"She's responding as well as one could expect to the treatment, better than average. It's going very, very well.

"She takes it very gracefully."
