Record For Iraqi Children
Sir Paul McCartney, George Michael, David Bowie and Avril Lavigne are among
artists appearing on a charity album to raise money for Iraqi children.
The Hope album - recorded on behalf of the War Child organisation - was
recorded to provide relief for victims of the Iraqi conflict.
McCartney made a live recoding of his track CALICO SKIES. The former
BEATLE said, "Whatever the politics, whatever the rights and wrongs of war,
children are always the innocent victims. So I am delighted to make this small
contribution."
