Readers Digest Team Up With Engelbert

British crooner ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK has been given an early 70th birthday gift from Readers Digest Music bosses - they're sponsoring his 2006 US tour. The RELEASE ME singer, real name GERRY DORSEY, turns 70 next week (02MAY06) on the road after kicking off his latest US trek in Las Vegas, Nevada last night (27APR06). And Readers Digest Music bosses plan to mark the occasion by joining Humperdinck on tour - the first time the music division of Reader's Digest Association has partnered with a musician on a tour. In conjunction with the tour sponsorship, Reader's Digest Music will produce Engelbert Humperdinck's first-ever career-spanning retrospective box set, which will be released on 11 May (06).
