Razorlight Star Hails Heroin

Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell has controversially branded his former existence as a heroin-fuelled squatter "a very civilised life".

The GOLDEN TOUCH singer - who illegally lived in unoccupied homes with his pals - used to fill his days taking drugs in an abandoned church in the Kentish Town area of London.

Despite quitting his hedonistic lifestyle, Borrell recalls his heroin days with great affection.

He says, "It can be a very civilised life, it's not like crack - you only have to score once a day. It was almost like a family.

"I used to snort it, which is actually a lot of fun."
