Radiohead Gold Disc In Charity Auction

RADIOHEAD drummer PHIL SELWAY has given a one-of-a-kind signed gold disc of OK COMPUTER to a charity auction.

The generous rocker has been involved with British emotional support charity THE SAMARITANS for years and decided to donate the disc - which marks American sales of the album - to the cause.

It is set to be auctioned off at tonight's (05SEP03) OXFORD POLICE BALL in England, with proceeds going to the charity.

Organiser DAVE EUSTICE says, "Oxford police area and its social club were delighted to be given this extremely generous gift by Phil and the band.

"It means we can guarantee a large profit for the charities involved and gives our night an extra buzz. The police area is tremendously supportive of worthy causes."
