R Kelly Gets The Ok For Vmas Debut
Troubled soul star R Kelly has something to celebrate - he has been granted permission to make his MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) debut on Sunday (28AUG05).
The R+B singer, who is awaiting trial on child-pornography charges in his home state of Illinois, was given the OK to perform at the Miami, Florida music event yesterday (22AUG05).
Kelly will join previously announced performers 50 CENT, Green Day, Coldplay and Mariah Carey, among others, at the star-studded bash.
