Queen Musical Takes Off In Spain

Robert De Niro's musical tribute to rock group Queen is heading for Spain
after auditions in Madrid brought guitarist Brian May to tears.

The group's musical, WE WILL ROCK YOU, which is backed by De Niro's
production company, has debuted on the London stage and now the brains behind
the stageshow are looking for new places to debut the musical.

May attended pre-production auditions last week (ends18APR03) and was so
moved by the performances of Spanish wannabes he posted the following note on
QueenOnline.com upon his return.

He writes, "The Spanish show will kill vocally. I think the whole audience
will be in tears. We were, even in the auditions."
