Prince William To Safari For Two Years
British royal heir PRINCE WILLIAM has shocked his father by announcing plans to spend two years in the wilds of Africa after he leaves university.
The 21-year-old was expected to commence royal duties following the completion of his degree at Scotland's ST ANDREW'S UNIVERSITY, but has surprised dad PRINCE CHARLES with his intention to travel in Africa, with Kenya a likely destination.
A royal insider says, "That he wants to go for two years is quite a shock for his father.
"Most people are hoping that he'll change his mind so everyone's being careful not to put too much pressure on him."
The news of Wills's safari plans emerged a day after it was announced he's decided to drop his History of Art course in favour of a Geography degree.13/10/2003 13:35
