Prince Tops Frontmen Poll
Prince has topped a new poll to find the greatest rock frontmen of all time, beating off Mick Jagger and Robert Plant.
The PURPLE RAIN singer was the number one pick by editors at America's SPIN magazine.
Spin chiefs claim their choice was an easy one, "He sings like an oversexed elf, and dances the whole world into the dirt."
The top 50 was male-heavy, but Courtney Love, Karen O, Joan Jett, Blondie's Deborah Harry, Patti Smith and Gwen Stefani also made the list.
The top 10 is:

4. James Brown
5. Jimi Hendrix
7. Axl Rose
9. David Bowie
