Preston: 'Lisa Marie Coped With Post-Partum Depression'
Scientologist Kelly Preston is urging new mums to use pal Lisa Marie PRESLEY's example and look for natural ways to control post-partum depression.
The actress, who has vocally supported fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise after he attacked Brooke Shields for openly stating anti-depressant medication helped her deal with severe post-birth blues, and she's convinced there are drug-free ways to beat the illness during early motherhood.
Preston believes fellow Scientologist Presley reacted perfectly when she struggled with post-partum depression.
Preston reveals, "It was interesting because her doctor said her hormones were elevated. Lisa, I think, just handled it naturally.
"If your hormones are out of whack why not do something... there's different homeopathics and different vitamins."
And another post-partum depression sufferer, WONDER WOMAN star LYNDA CARTER, insists she agrees with Cruise and Preston - drugs are not the answer.
She adds, "I went to counselling and worked through it and got it. What I struggled with was getting used to including them (kids) in every move I made."
