Playboy Sue Caprice
Porn magazine giants PLAYBOY is suing Californian supermodel CAPRICE for breach of contract after she pulled out of a reality TV show to star in a London musical.
BC INTERNATIONAL - the British clothing division of HUGH HEFNER's PLAYBOY ENTERPRISES INC - hired Caprice to model at the CLOTHES SHOW EXHIBITION in Birmingham, England in December 2002 on the basis she would generate publicity by appearing in CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER.
Playboy allege the one-time pop singer informed BC International of her decision to drop out of the fly-on-the-wall show only days after her agents banked a $27,000 (GBP15,000) sum of advance fees.
Caprice joined the cast of hit West End, London production RENT in late 2002.
BC International filed the suit at the CENTRAL LONDON COUNTY COURT, which seeks $9,000 (GBP5,000) to $27,000 (GBP15,000).
The former WONDERBRA model's lawyer says, "The claims are nonsense and will be vigorously defended."06/05/2004 17:32
