Perelman And Barkin 'Split'?

Actress Ellen Barkin and Revlon boss Ron Perelman have reportedly split after five years of marriage.

The New York Post reports the billionaire tycoon, 62, served the 51-year-old film star divorce papers at their Manhattan mansion yesterday (19JAN06).

Under the couple's prenuptial agreement - signed before their June 2000 marriage - Barkin is rumoured to receive $20 million (GBP11.1 million) in the event of a split, before a specific date.

However, sources close to the couple tell the Post the predetermined date is fast approaching and Perelman, who has a $6 billion (GBP3.3 billion) fortune, is keen to divorce his fourth wife as quickly as possible.

Perelman has six children from his previous marriages to FAITH GOLDING, Claudia Cohen and Patricia Duff, while Barkin is mother to Jack and ROMEY MARION from her six year marriage to Gabriel Byrne.
