Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam Star To Headline Crohn's Disease Benefit

PEARL JAM star MIKE McCREADY is paying back an organisation which has helped him come to terms with his Crohn's disease by headlining an awareness concert for them.

Advisers at America's Crohn's and Colitis Foundation encouraged McCready to go public about his ongoing battle with the debilitating stomach disorder in 2003, and now he's saying thank you.

The guitarist will perform at a benefit concert for the charity tomorrow (08APR05) in Seattle, Washington.

McCready will also speak about his illness at a CCFA luncheon earlier in the day.
