Pavarotti Confirms Plans For Three Tenors Reunion

Opera singer LUCIANO PAVAROTTI is reuniting with JOSE CARRERAS and PLACIDO DOMINGO to perform at least one more concert together as THE THREE TENORS.

The 70-year-old Italian, who is about to embark on a year-long farewell tour, wants to perform as part of the superstar three-piece before he retires from singing for good.

He says, "I think we are going to make another concert or two with the other two tenors before I retire."

Pavarotti has also cryptically dismissed criticism his voice is no longer the force it once was.

He adds, "Every fruit has its season, as we say in Italy. You have to decide when the voice was better and if all the qualities are still there."
