Ozzy's Royal Recovery Gift
Recovering rocker Ozzy Osbourne has had his spirits lifted by British royal PRINCE CHARLES - who sent him a bottle of Scotch as a get well soon gift.
The former Black Sabbath rocker remains in a neck brace as he recovers from a horrific quad bike accident in December (8DEC03), which left him with six broken ribs, a fractured collarbone and a damaged neck vertebra.
But Prince Charles's gift is unlikely to be properly enjoyed by the rocker-turned-reality TV star, as Ozzy has a long history of alcohol abuse and has not drunk a drop for over four months.
Nevertheless, wife SHARON, 51, says the present delighted her 55-year-old husband.
She says, "Ozzy is doing well and is on the road to recovery. And he is even better since he got a present from Prince Charles. He sent my husband a bottle of Scotch.
"Of course, he hasn't touched it."
