Ozzy Will Beat Parkin's Syndrome

OZZY OSBOURNE has vowed to fight motor-neuron disease Parkin's Syndrome and is determined never to end up in a "f**king wheelchair".

The heavy rocker only revealed he was suffering from the disease in May (05) because he always thought the symptoms, which include tremors, were just the after affects of a drug and alcohol fuelled lifestyle.

He says, "I always thought it (tremor) was from all the booze and the hangovers and whatever. But it was getting worse, my motor skills were getting affected.

"I went for extensive tests and when they told me I had Parkin's Syndrome, I freaked out.

"I asked the doctor, 'Will it shorten my life?' and he said, 'No, not at all but you will have to be on medication for the rest of your life.'

"It's not gonna kill me, and I've not got Parkinson's (Disease) - and I'm not going to end up like a f**king pickle in a f**king wheelchair."
