Ozzy Merchandise Hits $50 Million

Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne has become the first heavy metal artist to see his merchandise pass the $50 million ($27.8 million) mark.

The ex-BLACK SABBATH singer and reality TV star's goods - including T-shirts and action figures - have made $35 million (GBP19.5 million) from concert sales alone.

And Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon Osbourne thinks his popularity will continue to soar.

She says, "I think the 'Ozzy for President' and the 'Passion of Ozzy' shirts we just released will be some of the best-selling and most popular among his fans.

"Of course, I love Ozzy so much I sleep with one of his shirts on every night."
