O'Toole's Hologram Fears
Film legend PETER O'TOOLE has lashed out at Hollywood's overuse of special effects, joking actors will soon be replaced by "holograms".
The LAWRENCE OF ARABIA actor, 73, jumped at the chance to star in this year's (05) LASSIE remake when he discovered the lovable collie would be a real dog.
He says, "We're the flesh and blood picture - and the dog's flesh and blood too.
"Let me be fair - I have no objection to special effects as such. They can be very handy.
"But when an entire movie is a special effect, I'm sorry, baby, I want a real monkey, please.
"We'll all be a hologram next."
