Osment Speaks Out For America's Teachers

Teen actor HALEY JOEL OSMENT believes America's teachers should be the highest paid people in the country.

The OSCAR-nominated star of THE SIXTH SENSE, 15, sees the United States' educators as highly underrated - and wants a legal move put in place to leave them better off.

He says, "There ought to be a law that the highest pay in the country should go to teachers. Our future depends on these kids that are coming out of these classrooms.

"I think it's really sad how we don't have a lot of support for the school system today. So we should be sending more money that way."
