Oscar Nominee Castle-Hughes Wins Star Wars Role
WHALE RIDER actress KEISHA CASTLE-HUGHES has signed a deal to play a pivotal role in the final STAR WARS prequel, according to film industry insiders.
The OSCAR-nominated 14-year-old - who is the youngest actress to be on the ACADEMY AWARDS Best Actress shortlist - is expected to play the QUEEN OF NABOO in GEORGE LUCAS's eagerly-anticipated EPISODE III.
Since being singled out for her gutsy performance in the New Zealand-based film, Keisha has been signed up by Hollywood talent managers CREATIVE ARTISTS AGENCY, who are now lining up high-profile roles for her.
The final Star Wars prequel is planned for release in May 2005.16/03/2004 13:46
