British rocker Ozzy Osbourne has ensured he'll never feel lonely after tattooing a smiley face on each of his kneecaps.

The former BLACK SABBATH star claims it's become a tradition among the males in his family to permanently ink the faces onto their bodies.

Osbourne says, "I hate being alone. I suffer from loneliness... so I've got two little faces on my knees.

"When I'm p**sing people off they don't wanna talk to me so I can always pretend they're alive and talk to them.

"My son's just had it done. It's like an Osbourne family tradition."
