Orange Juice Star Sticks To Orange Juice

Edwyn Collins is recovering so successfully from hospital superbug MRSA he is spending every lunchtime at the pub with his devoted wife - although he only orders Orange Juice and cranberry.

The former ORANGE JUICE frontman contracted the antibiotic-resistant disease during his time in hospital after two brain haemorrhages nearly claimed his life.

But Collins' wife Grace Maxwell, who has been constantly updating his website with news of his progress, was "euphoric" to report he is officially infection-free and is allowed out of hospital to join her in the pub every day.

She says, "He is now infection clear and his improvement is quietly accelerating at the moment.

"Contrary to reports that he is fighting for his life we are in the boozer for lunch every day.

"Edwyn is on the orange juice and cranberry.

"As you can probably tell, I'm a little euphoric tonight."
