Oasis Snub Sony
British rockers OASIS have snubbed record label SONY by refusing to make their next LP a double album.
The upcoming disc is the band's last with the music giants, who wanted to end their relationship on a high.
But the WONDERWALL hitmakers deliberately scrapped tracks intended for a second CD, because they don't want to give the company bonus material for free.
Songwriter NOEL GALLAGHER says, "We've written 66 songs between the four of us and I think there's 12 on the album.
"We were going to do a double album, but we don't want to give Sony too much, 'cos it's out last one, so f**k 'em."20/01/2005 09:32
