Rocker TED NUGENT has blasted punk trio GREEN DAY after they turned down an offer to work with the CAT SCRATCH FEVER star. Nugent reveals he approached Green Day frontman BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG with a view to working with the AMERICAN IDIOT singer but he simply "laughed" at the idea. Now angry Nugent, a fervent Republican, rants, "Their social ignorance, their historical vacuity and their knee-jerk condemnation of American things and the BUSH administration is nothing short of embarrassing." But Nugent isn't giving up on the trio: "I bought all their CDs... I would be more than happy to talk to them."

| We should all take notice of Ted Nugent and realise that he speaks for truth and honesty. He has the best interest of the youth of America at the very core of his principles, and does not take issues that affect all our lives, lightly. His arguments are lucid and well researched, he employs an impeccable use of the English-yes, English language and recognises that it's use is a mighty weapon when utilised in the pursuance of intellectual endeavour. Education is the answer to ignorance. Pragmatism is the key to understanding, not pseudoscience. Carl Sagan is unfortunately no longer here to guide you, try to understand the message that Ted Nugent risks many things to altruistically deliver to you. | ||
