Nolan Refuses To Make A Movie Without His Wife

Movie-maker Christopher Nolan insists on having his wife Emma present on every film he works on, because she is the only person whose honesty he completely trusts.

The director, 34, has ensured EMMA, now eight months pregnant with their third child, has been there on every production since his college screen efforts right up to blockbuster Batman Begins.

He says, "On every production, people come to value Emma as the producer who's best at talking to me and telling me when I'm being an idiot.

"You have to have somebody around that you trust both creatively and in political terms.

"You get to a point where people don't want to say no to you because you're doing a bigger film, or because you have a track record, so you need someone who will."
