Newton-John's Daughter Postpones Single Release
OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN's daughter CHLOE LATTANZI has postponed the release of her debut single, following the mysterious disappearance of her mother's partner PATRICK McDERMOTT two months ago (30JUN-01JUL05).
The American cameraman vanished during an overnight fishing expedition off California's San Pedro coastline between 30 June and 1 July (05). Although the boat and all its crew returned to land, all that remained of McDermott was his personal possessions, including a fishing rod.
Newton-John, who has been dating McDermott for nine years, released a statement earlier this month (AUG05) appealing with anyone for information about McDermott's whereabouts to contact authorities.
Lattanzi, was due to release her debut single and album LONELY NIGHTS IN PARADISE in September (05), but has decided to delay her music debut until late next year (06).
KATE AMPHLETT, a spokeswoman for Lattanzi's music label Festival Mushroom Records, says, "Chloe is back in the US and she is going to record a couple of additional tracks for consideration for the album.
"There was a feeling we were rushing the record and the video ... she is just working on getting the album right."
