Newly-Engaged Aguilera Shines At Fashion Store Launch

CHRISTINA AGUILERA stole the show at the launch of designer ROBERTO CAVALLI's new Beverly Hills store on Tuesday night (15FEB05), when she showed off her new five-carat engagement ring.

The pop superstar was joined by new fiance Jordan Bratman, who proposed to the singer last week (ends11FEB05).

Aguilera confessed she had no idea she was going to be on the other end of a proposal.

She said, "He did a good job. He knew what he was doing. He had me completely and totally fooled. I thought it was a big Valentine's surprise."

Other celebrities attending the new store launch included fellow newly-engaged star Nicole Richie, Jack Nicholson, Salma Hayek and CINDY CRAWFORD.
