New York Dolls Set Date For New Recording
Reunited punk legends the NEW YORK DOLLS will begin recording together again on 15 January (06) - for the first time in more than 30 years.
The group's 1974 recording TOO MUCH TOO SOON turned out to be their last together until they recently regrouped.
Their as-yet-untitled album, due next summer (06), will be produced by JACK DOUGLAS, who previously worked on the Dolls' self-titled debut.
Surviving original members DAVID JOHANSEN and SYLVAIN SYLVAIN will be backed by guitarist STEVE CONTE, bassist SAMI YAFFA, drummer BRIAN DELANEY and keyboardist BRIAN KOONIN.
The group will tour next year in support of the album.
