New Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees Announced
THE Sex Pistols, Blondie and Black Sabbath are among the acts who will be inducted into America's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year (06).
The 1970s stars will be joined by fellow inductees Miles Davis and rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd at a star-studded ceremony to be held at New York City's Waldorf Astoria Hotel on 13 March.
A+M Records founders Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award in the non-performer category.
Inductees are decided by a poll of musicians, journalists and music industry professionals. Bands and artists are only eligible for inclusion at least 25 years after they released their debut material.
